CONVERSATIONS is a periodical publication dedicated to the promotion of new perspectives on art of the twentieth century. It documents Luxembourg & Dayan’s ongoing programme of interviews and panel discussions and offers a platform for contemporary artists, curators and scholars to reflect on the legacy and influence of twentieth centuries artists on present day practices. This first issue includes the transcription of three conversations: Antony Gormley on the early work of Alberto Giacometti from the years 1925-1935; Richard Prince on the invention of ‘Rephotography’ in the late 1970s; and Hans Ulrich Obrist and Marina Abramovic on the work of Gino De Dominici.
